1. Cook a meal together. Invite others to join you.
2. Make a scrapbook of your activities.
3. Visit local bookstores/Library together. Look for books of interest to
you.
4. Scan the newspapers for community events you can attend together.
5. Visit model homes in your area or other cities.
6. Go to fancy car lots looking for your dream car.
7. Furniture shop at fine furniture stores.
8. Visit electronic and computer stores. Learn about new technology.
9. Enjoy each other’s hobbies together, or go to a basketball game.
10. Eat at your favorite restaurant.
11. Plan a charity evening out. Go the a restaurant and tip the server well.
12. Dress up fancy one evening and go out. Visit friends.
13. Host a food tasting theme party for friends and relatives.
14. Buy seeds and plant flowerpots together. Root some plants in water,
then plant. Give the flowers to a nursing home or to someone sick.
15. Spend
time away from each other. You go off alone for a few hours, if
you are married; or if you are single,
don’t see each other for 48 hours.
16. Take a couple of your nieces, nephews, grandchildren, a friend’s
children to the park for a day, or to an amusement area.
17. Baby sit a child together.
18. Shop for groceries together. Decide on the amount to spend. Divide up
the list. Use calculators. Compare how well you shopped.
19. Send a text message twice a day: “Miss you.”
20. Go for a walk in the park together, enjoy nature trails
21. Ride your bikes together.
22. Watch your favorite old movies together.
23. Learn to play a new game together.
24. Do something each of you have never done before: like parachuting, eat
sushi, etc.
25. Visit each other’s family twice a month, if they are in town.
26. Plan a picnic in the park, just the two of you.
27. Develop a friendship with other couples.
28. Get to know each other’s friends. Invite to dinner. Plan outings.
29. Have a backyard barbeque.
30. Go to the park and take nature photos.

33. Visit a hotel, sit in the lobby, walk around.
