book was inspired by the pain and suffering of countless women,
including ourselves who have entered into relationships with blinders
on and hopeless optimism only to encounter a rude awakening.
The
purpose of this book is to provoke deliberate thought with regards to
the person that you are considering beginning or continuing a
relationship with. So many times we decide to explore relationships
with men whom we have absolutely nothing in common with. We waste
unimaginably huge amounts of time and effort and so many lives are
devastated because we choose to tiptoe around issues that we classify
as non-compromisable for fear of losing “him”. It’s amazing.
The
big question is why? Why don’t we think about what it is that we want
in a man up front? Why don’t we interview them before we give them the
job? At some level we know that we should give considerable thought to
the selection process. Then along comes another potential Mr. Right and
here we go again.
